Cancellation/Return Policy

At ASCEND ALTERNATIVES, we strive to provide excellent customer service and ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. Please inspect your shipment carefully upon arrival to ensure it has not been damaged during shipping.

Damaged Products

All claims for damaged product(s) must be submitted within 72 hours of receiving the product. Please email support@ascendalternatives.com with:

  • Detailed information about the damaged product(s).
  • Photo proof of the damage.

Order Accuracy

Once orders are submitted, we cannot apply discounts or coupons retroactively. Please confirm the accuracy of your order, including items, quantities, pricing, and discounts, before submitting.

Returns for Unopened Products

Returns are accepted for most unopened, unused products within 14 days of the product's delivery date. Refunds will be issued for the full purchase price minus shipping costs, and the customer is responsible for return shipping.

Returns Due to Errors

If the return is due to our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item), you may request a refund within 30 days of the product's delivery date. In such cases, we will cover return shipping costs.

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed as quickly as possible. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of returning the product. This time frame includes:

  • 5–10 business days: Time for the return shipper to deliver your package.
  • 3–5 business days: Time for us to process your return once received.
  • 5–10 business days: Time for your bank to process the refund request.

For assistance, email support@ascendalternatives.com with your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to return. We will respond promptly with return instructions.

General Shipping Policies

  • We can ship to virtually any address within the United States, with some exceptions based on product type or local/state regulations.
  • Customers are responsible for knowing and complying with the rules, policies, and legal restrictions in their state or municipality.

Shipping Methods

Default Shipping Option

  • Most items ship via USPS Ground Advantage, which is reliable and cost-effective for most orders.

Additional Shipping Options

  • USPS Priority Mail: Faster delivery option available at checkout.
  • UPS: For those who prefer alternative carriers or need expedited shipping.

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the chosen method, weight, and dimensions of your order.

Free Shipping

  • Orders over $100 qualify for free shipping unless otherwise noted. (Note: Free shipping does not waive the $7 Adult Signature Service fee for nicotine products.)

Nicotine Products - Special Shipping Requirements

Due to federal regulations, all nicotine product shipments must adhere to the following requirements:

Adult Signature Service

  • An adult 21+ must be present at the time of delivery to sign for the package with a valid government-issued ID.
  • A $7 Adult Signature Service fee is added to the shipping cost for all nicotine product orders.
  • In cases where shipping is free, the $7 signature fee still applies.

Delivery Attempts

The carrier will attempt delivery three times. If the package is returned to us after these attempts:

  • You may request a refund of the purchase price minus the shipping and signature fees.
  • Alternatively, we can resend the package, but you will be responsible for paying shipping and signature fees again.
  • If we are unable to contact you within 10 days of receiving a returned package, we will issue a refund of the purchase price only (shipping and signature fees are non-refundable).

No PO Boxes

  • Nicotine products cannot be shipped to PO boxes because they require in-person acceptance and signature by an adult.
  • If a PO box address is entered for a nicotine product order, we will attempt to contact you for a deliverable address.
  • If we are unable to reach you within 10 days, your order will be canceled, and a refund will be issued.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to claim the shipment:

  • We will contact you to arrange re-shipment (additional shipping fees may apply).
  • If we cannot reach you within 10 days, a refund of the purchase price will be issued (shipping and signature fees are non-refundable).

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package leaves our possession and is handed over to the shipping carrier, we no longer have control over it. ASCEND ALTERNATIVES is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If your package is lost or stolen, please contact the carrier directly for assistance.

Shipping Restrictions for THC Products

Due to legal restrictions, we are unable to ship certain THC products to states where they are prohibited by law. It is the customer's responsibility to verify the legality of these products in their state before placing an order. Orders containing restricted products placed from prohibited states will be cancelled and refunded. State laws are subject to change, and customers should stay informed about their local regulations.

Delta-8 THC products cannot be shipped to the following states: AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, GA, HI, ID, IN, IA, KS, MA, MS, MT, NV, NH, NY, ND, OR, RI, SC, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV.

THCA products cannot be shipped to the following states: AR, CA, ID, MN, OR, RI.

Shipping Restrictions for Kratom Products

Due to legal restrictions, we are unable to ship Kratom products to the following states: AL, AR, IN, RI, VT, WI.

Kratom products also cannot be shipped to the following cities/municipalities: San Diego (CA), Oceanside (CA), Denver (CO), Sarasota County (FL), Jerseyville (IL).

We strive to ensure timely deliveries but are not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.
